If that sounds like a title, it’s because it is. Back in 2007, a bunch of us Teke crazy people got together and made a promotional video for the Akhal-Teke breed. Of course, we didn’t do it ourselves; we had Jon May and the film production company HorseFlicks deeply involved (who won several awards for the film!) and we were supported by Teke people from all over North America. It was well-received and we still have about 1500 DVDs available.
Someone put it up on YouTube in 3 parts; here are the links:

We had several reprintings and one person donated hers to the ATAA (Akhal-Teke Association of America) just last year. Now they are in my garage, ready to be distributed. I will bring some to the Rare Breeds Show in June. This video encouraged us to make another video, this one in 2013. We aimed that video to be more about how the horses make us feel and why we breed and compete with them, rather than just history. It is part of a series on endangered breeds “Extinction is Forever”, and will be showing on TV (no doubt cable channels) sooner or later. We still have a bunch of those too. These are for sale through the ATAA website: http://www.akhal-teke.org/akhal-teke-promotional-dvd.html
