She’s on her way!

Yes, I have bought a new horse!  I didn’t really NEED a new horse, but I wanted one.  I’ve been admiring this mare for years and even got to show her at the 2016 Rare Breeds Show in VA.

The opportunity arose and I jumped.  Gala is coming to Washington!  Gala (Galadrielle) is a 6 year old purebred Akhal-Teke mare, by Miril out of JBK Gulkusi, bred by Oasis Akhal-Tekes in Wawhaw, NC.

She got on the shipper’s trailer yesterday, here are a series of photos that her former owner sent me:
