Seeing as I do all my breeding via AI (artificial insemination), there is planning and prep work involved. Now that all of last year’s breedings have come to ‘fruition’ and I can see the results, I got to plan this years. I am really liking the Salam offspring, especially their temperaments, legs and hind ends. But, to use Salam, I have to haul him to the vet clinic to be collected and as I’m not driving now, that means I’d have to organize someone to fill in for me. So, Salam gets to sit out this year.
Asalari has already been bred to Merdan and we’ll find out next week if it took.Asalari
Aishet and MV Elfia will be bred to Gallo, owned by Pleasant Grove Akhal-Teke. My vet and I are trying to get them to ovulate close enough together to be able to breed with only one collection…we will see. We checked them yesterday and they are close, but the next few days will see how close.
Ahmi ‘helping’ Dr. Holohan while she ultrasounded Aishet. Ahmi was very interested in what was going on.
